近日，英国化学奥林匹克竞赛(UKChO)，公布了2022年的获奖名单，我校学子王同学、蔡同学斩获英国化学奥林匹克竞赛金奖和银奖。

Recently, the British Chemical Olympiad (UKChO) announced the list of winners in 2022. Our students Wang and Cai won the gold and silver awards of the British Chemical Olympiad.

作为英国历史久、学术性强、影响力大的高中化学奥赛，今年UKChO的报名人数增多，题目难度显著提升。在这种情况下，宏文学子拿到了十分亮眼的成绩，收获了1枚金奖、1枚银奖。

As the oldest, most academical and influential High School Chemistry Olympiad in the UK, the number of applicants for UKChO this year has increased, and the difficulty of the topics has increased significantly. Under this circumstance, Hongwen students got very brilliant results and won a gold award and a silver award.

UKChO是国际学术机构英国皇家化学学会主办，为英国难度高的高中化学奥林匹克，题目深且广，紧密结合现实生活以及科研、热点，以提高学生的解决问题能力和创新能力为主。

UKChO is sponsored by the Royal Society of Chemistry, an international authoritative academic institution. It is the most difficult High School Chemistry Olympics in the UK. The topics are deep and wide. It is closely combined with real lfe, scientific research and hot spots to improve students' problem-solving ability and innovation ability.

对于申请化学、医学、材料、药学等专业的中国学生而言，化学竞赛奖项在申请中可谓是极其重要的加分项，参加全球具影响力的英国化学奥林匹克竞赛UKChO是颇佳选择。其次，UKChO竞赛中的题型与牛津大学、剑桥大学的面试题有一定相似度，不少被牛津、剑桥化学系录取的同学都是手握UKChO奖项的!
